Misha Patel
Lead Instructor / Owner
Misha Patel
Misha Patel is a fully certified STOTT Pilates, TRX Sports Medicine, and Z-Health Trainer providing intelligent application of movement for clinical rehab to athletic performance.
Patel’s teaching is heavily influenced by her understanding and ongoing training in human anatomy, kinesiology, brain function, neuroplasticity, and neurobiomechanics.
Her dedication and keen sense of brain-based exercise innovation have benefited injury rehab and special population clientele as well as professional and Olympic athletes, allowing each to achieve his or her individual goals in a healthy, appropriate, and proactive manner.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts, Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Marketing from Santa Clara University.

Roz Adams
Rosalynn (Roz) Adams is a dedicated, inspiring instructor with special interest in injury rehabilitation and the Senior/Gold population. She holds several certifications, including from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, Stott Mat and Reformer, MPS Mentorship Program Level 1, Aqua Aerobics, Tai Chi, Zumba, TRX Suspension and Rip Training, Silver Sneakers, and a 500-hour Yoga certification. Take a class at MPS with Roz and you’ll discover first-hand her belief in living life on purpose, with purpose, and helping others do the same.
Marcella Avitia

Marcella Avitia
Marcella Avitia turned to Pilates for rehabilitation after a severe car accident in 1998. Expecting some improvement, she found full recovery, allowing her to enjoy the outdoor activities she loves. Marcella is the MPS Barre Fusion session lead instructor and program designer, and she’s obtained a Barre Intensity Certification. Completing the MPS Mentorship Program Level 1 (2014) and Level 2 (2015), combined with her specialized training for injury rehabilitation and special populations, allow her to help many MPS clients reach their individual wellness and performance goals.
Natsuki Gehrt

Natsuki Gehrt
Natsuki Gehrt graduated at the top of her class from NHI in Massage Therapy with a diploma in Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy and Health Education (ANMT) in 2017. (ANMT is a brain-based neurological approach to assessing, treating, and preventing soft tissue injuries, postural distortions, and chronic pain.)
She also holds a master’s degree in education and California’s CAMTC certification.
Combining Eastern modalities (such as cupping, myofascial release, and active release methods), Natsuki tailors treatments for clients to continue or resume their lifelong pursuits of health, fitness, and well-being.
Jessa Welsh

Jessa Welsh
Jessa Welsh joined MPS as a client in 2010, searching for a way to exercise despite severe spinal injuries. Her life changed when she discovered she could complete a full body workout without further injuring herself, and while strengthening the weakened areas of her back. She dedicated herself to learning so she could share the power of Pilates to help with injuries, illnesses, or muscle imbalances. Jessa completed MPS Mentorship Program Level 1 in 2017 and Level 2 in 2018. Her passion and experience inspire her clients at MPS.

Cristen Kehl
Did you know that Cristen Kehl has a lifelong passion for dance? At Santa Clara University, she graduated with honors and paired her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Film Production with a minor in Theatre Arts, Dance. She came to MPS in 2016, training under Misha and Marcella to teach TRX and Barre Fusion, and she now teaches all classes: TRX, Barre, Pilates Reformer, Rhythm Sculpt, Yoga Stretch, Jumpboard & Ab Fusion. With her dance background, her teaching brings focus to full muscle activation and elongation.
